Our Manual Lesson Cars
Our manual lesson cars are modern, fully dual-controlled, and maintained to a high standard. Vehicles include a Suzuki Swift equipped with air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera — comfortable and easy to handle for new learners.
We maintain good lesson availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends throughout our EH1-EH8 coverage area.
What You'll Learn
Car Familiarisation and Basic Control
First lessons focus on the clutch, gears, and smooth car control. No rushing — your instructor builds your confidence step by step.
Junctions, Roundabouts and Road Positioning
Lessons use real Edinburgh roads throughout, covering T-junctions, crossroads, mini-roundabouts, and multi-lane roundabouts — exactly what you’ll encounter on test day.
Manoeuvres
Parallel parking, pulling up on the right, and bay parking are all practised thoroughly — including on routes around Musselburgh Test Centre.
Independent Driving and Test Preparation
Final lessons include sat-nav independent driving, mock test conditions, and honest feedback on test readiness.
Manual vs Automatic
